tuesday night while i was out for a presets show & losing a bit of my hearing in the process, across the pond at vanilla in soho london, for the launch of simon henwood's new book celebrating ten years of his art & films, was a crowd of fabulous party go-ers sipping on kiwi cocktails, munching on mini burgers & scallops to dj sets by none other than girlfriend of the artist herself - róisín murphy, & left carrying goodie bags filled with no. 7 makeup & a themed 'censorship is like racism' tee for the night.

topshop's grand nyc opening is today

the hype around the store finally arriving stateside has rivaled, if only slightly, the release of katie grand's LOVE over the pond; a dinner party, a private shoppers night, & gift cards with catalogues & 'every "body" loves topshop' labeled water bottles stuffed inside alexa chung doodled totes that were handed out monday in greenwich village have only been a few of the perks.

& if you'll be stuck interning tomorrow morning running to & fro in ann demeulemeester heels, dont fret - the opening weekend brings complimentary beauty treatments, sweet treats, special guest DJs and an introduction into a world of stylish clothes as far as the eye can see.

if only i was moving a few months earlier or had the lovely excuse of interning instead...this is going to be one morning in soho not to miss.
