Wednesday

wired to the sun like a laser beam.

finally a pair of looks that actually make me want to toss out my staple black tights & pashminas. replacing them instead with shimmering bare legs & necks with minimal jewellry.

the first, my favourite, is minimalist menswear perfection. with its casually rolled up sleeves & hems, oversized trousers & blazer both in sheer breezy fabrics set off only by a little cotton bra top exposing just the slightest bit of sunkissed skin.

im beginning to think that, at last, i am ready for spring.

ps, anyone stay up late/get up early to watch the gareth pugh fw 09 collection film?
i did & i loved it. what a way to kick off paris fashion week, non?

The new Pugh is good!
i'm glad he's now experimenting with volume around the bottom half of the body too...and pleats can never be a bad thing.
(shame his mens collection didn't really take any similar steps forward)

ohmygosh, I love that first look...I don't know if it's the natural winter to spring progression or if I just adore copying you [hehe] but I'm completley feeling these sort of looks for warm weather.
