letters home by sylvia plath: correspondence 1950-1963
this is the beautiful book i mentioned getting last week. it took 14 days to arrive, is the original 1975 edition, is 502 gorgeous pages long and i am certain i am 100 percent in love with it.
I am so jealous!! That's probably the one Slyvia related book I don't have. I read Rough Magic, and it was good, but not great. You've just convinced me to pillage amazon today.
You're really making me want to get more into Sylvia Plath, I've read very little by her so far but have thoroughly enjoyed it. I think you might want to have a look at Doris Lessing's The Golden Notebook: I'm not done reading it, but from what I've gather of your tastes from your blog, I just thought I'd recommend it to you! x
Your original edition is making me very jealous but considering the way I've pillaged my copy then it is probably a good thing that I only have a reprint.
I've been following for about a year but have only just gone through the archives and I bloody love your blog. You may not update loads but when you do they are always really interesting posts rather than gratuitous waffle.

A photo from the past says so much, sometimes to much: that's why I rather don't look at them.
