i don't usually write much about collections but i loved this one too much not to. it seemed like the perfect transitional collection from a pastel hazed summer into a stark, steeled autumn; from sea nymph to english rose. the juxtaposition of candy pastels and washed charcoals, of mermaid sequins and chunky knits. i also love her frost bitten lips and dirty hands; like she'd been caught in the cold without a coat, oil-painting a masterpiece.

"It doesn't scare me that the images aren't retouched, it adds another layer of interest and intrigue," Trindle told us. "I'm as guilty of a slight polish in post as any, but having beautiful woman sit by a window doesn't fill me with unease. The fear that surrounds an un-retouched image is quite amazing - and again I'm no martyr. So much can be adapted in post, and so I suppose the main benefit is its purity."
