nothing beats the pair of denim and cotton, so at the top of my fall wardrobe list is a pair of american apparel's jeans. i don't wear jeans often but i'm ready to go back to basics and pair them with simple white cotton tops and cozy jumpers detailed with a nice leather watch and loafers.

a random piece of inspiration that's been hanging out on my floor. in the midst of my article writing crisis for bite magazine a few months ago, i turned to the stacks of magazines that line my walls. dazed and confused with its witty, to the point, short and sweet articles were exactly the jolt i needed. and this one in particular about margaret howell's unabashed britishness stood out, so the issue has been laying open next to my bedside table ever since. i love a good slicked back pony and very inappropriate bare leg for fall.
