Something happened when I was in Portland, maybe it was the rain and the acute concern of dressing appropriately for weather/public transit/walking everywhere; but the coveted head to toe black ensembles came almost instinctively. Here I am before an outing in a sheer button down, black skinny trousers, my favorite hat and a vintage coat I found in town at Rad Summer. The other black ensemble I switched between was a sheer black dress (also from Rad Summer) I layered over leggings and tights and under the same black bouclé coat. The only colors at all were the cognac of my bag and the red of my lips. I think I've discovered my autumn look.
