Sunday

we talk about dishwasher tablets, illness and we dream about heaven.

after being inspired by both lauren & chase's own unique jewellry aesthetic via videos on stevie's blog & stylelikeu, i frantically starting digging through old jewellry boxes to find that turquoise cuff i got my sixth birthday. i'm half native american-french, half czech-welsh, so the cuff is one hundred percent authentic & perfect for my own non flashy approach to jewellry.

I love the cuff, and it's interesting family background! I'm mainly half-French Canadian and half-English Canadian, but both my grandmothers are Native. Anywhere else is either Scottish, Welsh, Irish or French! :D
Est-ce que vous parlez francais? (I'm too lazy to put my french keyboard on, sorry!)

Woah woah woah, Anonymous. Calm down.
A) I'm not American.
B) Why not be proud of your heritage? It's your genetic and cultural history, and it's important. Besides, if it's an important part of your family, then why not say it?

That bracelet is precious! And got it when you were six? I love finding things from a long time ago! I found a tiny ring that hardly fits my pink finger but after much persistence (and pain while trying to push it past my joints) it finally fits! haha
