i can't even begin to tell you how in love i am with this film. not often do i, for days after, still have the imagery and characters stuck in my head. it was simply beautiful, like a sexually charged film noir version of a little princess. luckily it has a book accompaniment so i can relish in it again and again on a whole other level. it is an absolute must see and now one of my absolute all time favourites.

WHY I havent seen this yet?! I dont think Eva Green is featured in the highest quality movies but I think her beauty can lead me through big nonsense I dont particularly fancy. I still feel she deserves better movies. Not speaking about Cracks of course, I havent seen this one.
