school has started up again & completely taken over my social & blogging life.
i seem to have little time for anything else anymore.

which is why i had the idea to ask you, my lovely readers,

FINALLY.

as i've said [many times] before, emily blunt is one of my absolute favourite celebs & it's about time an american magazine featured the fabulous, talented & very funny actress; she is in W this month. now all i want is a cover. how amazing would that be? she'd be so good for vogue; anna needs to pump it up a notch.

ive decided to put the kettle on & start on my new post.

A.P.C the french cult label has been on my wishlist for awhile now.

• one of my absolute favourites; i adore those hats.
& the feather skirts!

• i was quite disappointed with her this season. but these two looks stood out for me.
both worn by the same model no less; Olya Ivanisevic. my newest favourite.
coincidence, perhaps?

• i love that they chose to showcase their designs, not in bryant park, but in the Hotel Chelsea & only by private appointment only. how posh!
oh & have you heard - jovovich-hawk for target spring 08?!



marc, oh marc!

• hmm, what to say...i wasnt a huge fan of the actual clothes this season [the heart patch bra was adorable!], i did, on the other hand, like the concept.
you know - running the whole thing backwards.
& i think the shoes were hilarous. but hilarous in a good way, of course.

their book came out tuesday;



& amid all the fashion week parties the misshapes are throwing their own fashion week/book release soiree & its tonight!
the cobrasnake is even coming. so theres bound to be some crazy pictures surfacing within the next few days.

my first 'must cover' show of the week comes from the fairytale mind of erin fetherston,
who, since the announcement of her GO collection for target
[mark your calendars for november] has become one of my newest favourite designers,
& while her collection for the retail chain seems more lolita meets little girl chic;
the collection she showed yesterday for S/S 08 was more grown up;
i loved all the chic turbans & hair pieces, mixed with the icy colour palette of all the chiffon & silks, it all brought to mind gorgeous icelandic princesses who travel the world.

fashion week has offically started!

bring on all the champagne, all the running about in four inch heels, & all the late night partying that is fashion week.

i havent been so lucky these past two seasons to get my hands on one of lancomes coveted runway-inspired lipcolours; first it was behnaz sarafpour with that fabulous red & last season it was proenza schouler with the perfect pale pink. [which quicky became my favourite colour to wear for spring; i just used NARS 'roman holiday' instead ;]
so, this season i am determined to finally get my hands on a tube.
inspired by peter soms f/w 07 collection 'ps kiss' is a gorgeous deep burgandy shade that looks like you've been downing merlot all night with your chic-est of mates.





with that in mind ive already called my local lancome counter & added my name to the waiting list, which first opened today. but my lips wont get ahold of it until it hits the shelves on october 1st.
